Discount Calculator โ FAQs
Is this discount calculator free?
Yes, it is completely free with no signup and no limits. Calculate as many sale prices as you like while shopping, and everything runs privately in your own browser without uploading anything or saving your entries.
How is the sale price calculated?
The tool multiplies the original price by the discount percent and divides by 100 to find the saving, then subtracts that saving from the original price. For example, 20 percent off Rs 2,500 saves Rs 500, giving a final price of Rs 2,000.
Can it handle discounts above 100 percent?
No, because a discount above 100 percent would make the price negative, which is not meaningful for shopping. The tool accepts discounts from 0 to 100 percent and will ask you to correct anything outside that range.
Does it include tax or extra charges?
No, the calculator works on the price you enter, so if tax or delivery charges apply, add them separately. For the most accurate result, enter the price before tax and then add the tax to the final discounted price yourself.
