Random List Picker โ FAQs
Is the winner truly picked at random?
Yes. Winners are chosen with the browser's cryptographically secure random number generator, giving every item in your list an exactly equal chance. There is no weighting, no favourite-picking and no memory of past draws. Each click is an independent draw, which is why the tool is suitable for giveaways, raffles and fair classroom selections.
What is the difference between pick and shuffle?
Pick One draws a single random item and spotlights it in the big winner display โ ideal for giveaways and decisions. Shuffle reorders your entire list randomly, which is perfect for randomising presentation order, seating plans, or the sequence of a tournament draw. Both use the same fair random source under the hood.
Can I pick multiple winners?
For multiple distinct winners, use Shuffle List and take the top entries โ each shuffle is a fair random ordering, so the first three shuffled items make an unbiased set of winners. If you need winners drawn one at a time with removal, pick a winner, delete that line from the list, and pick again.
Are my list items uploaded anywhere?
No. Your list is processed entirely in your browser and never leaves your device. There is no account, no storage and no server call, so you can safely use it for sensitive draws like employee selections or prize lists containing personal names without any privacy concern.
